DVDs for Sale!

So part of what I've been doing while I am computerless is going through my DVDs and stuff...I kinda can't go through everything since the majority of my things are at my parents' house, but I have all my DVDs here with me. And I've got quite a few...including some I don't particularly want anymore. So...I'm selling them.

Now here's the deal. I don't keep my DVDs in the cases because I have so many so I have (at the moment) no clue where the cases are for all of them, but I do have sleeves for them. All of the DVDs are single watch or less. I have a couple that are unopened. All DVDs are viewable and have been checked.

I am going to have to request that if you want a DVD, you send payment and then I will mail the DVD. I will mail the DVD media mail so would to add two (2) dollars shipping and handling to all purchases.

I think these prices are fair. It's first come, first serve. I only have one copy of each DVD. I've marked which ones I have cases for, etc.

I'm gonna put these up for sale on Amazon or eBay in the next couple of days so if you want one...please let me know ASAP. I'm looking to get rid of them soon.

Okay so in the grand scheme of things there really isn't that much of the stuff...but damn it I do not live in Upstate NY anymore...or Canada...or Russia...or Alaska. I should NOT wake up to frelling SNOW on March 23rd!!!

But that's what happened...I'm not kidding...I took pictures as evidence.

I also give you the humor of the pastor at the church my family attends...I fully agree with them. Enough is enough!

Whoo-Hoo!! I have my baby back! :-) She's all nice and pretty now...my keyboard actually works when I hit the keys and I can (as you can see) connect to the internet again!

On the downside, they did end up having the wipe her completely. So I lost...well everything. I backed up my files before I took her in, but like a dingbat forgot to back up my bookmarks. So I lost...ALL of them. I've got no fic, no videos, no nothing.

If there is anything you'd like to rec to me or you think I should have...please pass on to me. I'm working on rebuilding my links and everything else.

In addition there is NO way I'm going to catch up on my flist...I was off-line for over six days and there's just too much posted. If there is something you think I absolutely MUST see...an awesome story, a vid, graphics...please link me. I missed so much and I'm hoping to see fabulous work that I missed, but there's no way I can catch up and still keep up.

So I turned off Morrigan this morning because she was running slow and when I got back from taking Gramma to church and McDonald's and my great-aunt's and the grocery store...she wouldn't connect to the internet.

Long story short...the RCP connector is blown...and she's gotta go into the shop for SEVEN to FOURTEEN days...yeah...I'm fucked. Just totally fucked...and for those of you who've looked at my schedule...you know I don't get a break anywhere in the next like... 16 days. So I'm spending tonight and possibly tomorrow morning burning pretty much everything but the movies/tv shows off her and then taking her in. Since she's going in I'mma get the keyboard fixed too...and I'll be back when I'm back.

Send me links, etc of what you think I need...email is better but my box is probably going to explode. Since I think it's like half-full...and if you want to keep me from going nuts, I've got my cell, if you have my number...please for the love of goddess TEXT ME!!


I'm sure I'll be writing, I'll be printing things out before I shut her down for good.

Boo just told me I could borrow her laptop so I'll at least be able to check my mail a couple of times.

illfindmyway, please text me...I'm emailing you my cell number and tell me when your stories are due...I'll borrow her laptop like the day or so before they are due and beta them that day.

Hey, y'all. I'm back in the frigid North...and I haven't had internet for a week or better. So if there are any stories, vids, promos, anything that you think I should see from the 23rd until say Jan 3rd (since I'm busy today and part of tomorrow)...please toss a link into a comment here.

I'm going to try to get back on track by tomorrow...but who knows what's going to happen. Meanwhile...I'm off to re-pack my stuff to head to gramma's for the week.

Just kidding...sort of.

I'm leaving in a few hours...minutes...days...for the South and my step-grandparents. This is not the horrible part. The horrible part is...I will have to spend at least 16 hours in the car with my parents and siblings and at least two days at my grandparents with no internet access.

It's That Time of Year Again! Holiday Edition

So since I'm here and I should just get things done while I'm thinking about it (I know I had a thought at 7am, but it's gone now...totally gone)...I figured I'd do this post too...and then I swear no more posts until I do my count post later tonight.

I've got to start Christmas cards soon. I believe that I'm going to do friends' cards this year, but probably not family...long story why I'm not doing family or well not doing most of my family, but I'm not getting into that.

This is to request addresses. If you think I don't have it, please leave it. If you've moved or changed your address in the past year for whatever reason, please leave it. If you aren't sure, please ask me.

Just because you gave it to me in the last few months--doesn't mean I have it. If I sent you a card last year and your address hasn't changed--I've got it. (Most likely, but if you want to make sure, ask!)

If you don't want a card, let me know...I don't send religious cards so don't worry about that. If I send you a card, please don't think I expect one in return, this is just something I do for myself.

Apple-y Things

So when I was up at my sister's last weekend (yes, the wedding went well, yes I have a few pictures, yes I'll get around to doing something with them soonish) I stopped by The Apple Shed which is where we used to get apples and stuff when I was a kid. See in Jersey? The *coughs* Garden State *coughs*, we paid 70 bucks for three pumpkins last year that were all under 20 pounds. I got 4 pumpkins (all 21 to 26 pounds), 5 1/2 pecks of apples, a gallon of cider, and 4 packs of maple candy (with 4 pieces each in them) all for about 40 bucks.

So I needed to do something with the apples since we're not gonna eat all of them. Today with [livejournal.com profile] eaglesis40  visiting, we decided to bake! I got some recipes from the web and also from [livejournal.com profile] angelskuuipo  and we got to work. :-)

So these are the fruits (haha) of our labors.

So I'm adding my opinion to the "don't share on Facebook/Twitter". If I want things shared, I'll be the one to share them, thank you. I've got enough people who know me IRL that I'd just rather not have random things out without knowing I've passed them on. If I want people to see things, I'll give them links.

That said, if you'd like to turn off the options on your own comments...there is a way to do it. As far as I know this does NOT turn them off on anyone else's (but I'll let you know if it does if I find out), given to me by [livejournal.com profile] angels3  who got it from from [livejournal.com profile] faunaana [livejournal.com profile] angels3  or I were sure which box it went in...the boxes then disappeared from my comment blocks. If you have any questions, give me a yell and I'll try to walk you through it.

And no that's not a reference to me losing my mind :-P

It's a reminder to y'all that I am going to the wilds of Westchester County in a couple of hours and will have no internet until I return. I will be taking Morrigan with me...but I know from a trip last summer that I couldn't get her to accept any wifi signals up there.

Y'all can leave me messages and I'll pick them up when I get back. If it's an absolute crisis or you miss me desperately...the usual suspects have my cell and I have that with me.

License Plate Bingo

There’s not a lot to do when driving up from Jersey to my aunt’s in Podunkville, New York (no that’s not really where she lives, but if I wrote the actual town trust me y’all would have never heard of it anyway) so Momo and I kept a running tally of the license plates we saw. Not a count, just every time we saw a new one I wrote it down.

End count? 19 states and 3 Providences…pretty good for July.

...well hopefully stressful than yesterday although I kinda doubt it. It'll just be a different type of stress.

Just a reminder that I will be gone from today until the 25th. I'll be at my sister's in NY. So I will have limited internet, cell service, etc. I will have some...it's just kinda crappy cell unless I go into town. So kinda what it really means? I can text most of the time, but an actual phone call? *snorts* yeah good luck.

Plans are for me to be able to watch Leverage on Sunday, but not run the group, so enjoy! And I'll catch y'all later!
