Just thought I'd remind y'all that time is quickly slipping away if you want to answer this months comment prompt on Losers' Mini-Bang. We've got an awesome song prompt this month and so far no stories or poems so it's just waiting for someone to answer it.

Just a reminder that Mini-Bang prompting is now open! It will continue from now until October 31st or until we reach 25 prompts, whichever happens first. The rules have changed slightly so please make sure you read all of them before posting your prompt.
The biggest one is that anonymous prompts are not allowed. This is because either the mods or authors may need to contact the prompter for more information. Since kinks are allowed but not required, I don’t see any issues with this. As I’ve said please read all the rules before posting on the new prompt page. The new rules for claiming and posting stories will be posted once the prompts are thrown open for claiming.
In addition, we have a monthly comment prompt series. Each month a prompt will be given with a word limit and you will have a month to answer the prompt. This month’s prompt has been posted and we look forward to reading the answers to The Lengths by the Black Keys.
You are welcome to leave a prompt or an answer to the comment prompt. You are not required to respond to all of them in order to participate in one of them. Enjoy!

5/9/10 23:59Soldiers' Angels in a partnership with Ram Trucks and The Zac Brown Band is currently doing a letter drive. Their goal is to send 1 million letters/postcards to overseas soldiers.
With that in mind they are doing a Letters for Lyrics drive right now.

I've got a recommendation for you. Jeri Smith-Ready has a series of books (three at the moment) based in and around WMMP radio station in Sherwood. Ciara (pronounced Keer-ah) is a former con artist who is trying to go straight and applies to the radio station for an internship. At the interview, she's told part of the reason she's being considered is she thinks outside the box...little does she know how far outside she's going to have to think...
Each book has a playlist of music listed in the front and the author has been able to create an on-line playlist so you can listen to the music she picked. I'll hopefully add more as I think of things here. :-) But check out the books.

Got a story idea? Think you’re not good enough to write it or don’t have the time? Just can’t get a high enough word count to reach your goal? Well head on over to thelosers_minibang . From now until August 14th, we’re accepting prompts for stories that’ll be turned into 5K fics by writers.
If you’d like to write a Losers’ fic…well, you’ll have your chance too. Keep an eye on the prompts and be ready because on August 16th, it’ll be a first come, first serve basis to grab those prompts.
We’ll even have an opportunity for those artists or betas who’d like to get in on the action, keep an eye out for posts where we’ll have an opportunity for y’all to get together.
And fic to read…yup, we’ll have that too because all those prompts will eventually be turned into stories for you to read.

17/6/10 15:15Check out a brand new venture Z Magazine, hosted by That Write House. Z Magazine is a quarterly flash fiction magazine that accepts fiction writing from any genre (up to 1000 words – and fewer is better).

Okay so I'm not selling anything...
A friend of mine used to be a lia sophia dealer (the jewelry) and she was going through her old merchandise the other day. She has decided she needs to off-load what she has left over and is putting it up on ebay. She's got a lot of pretty stuff and the prices are very reasonable (I went and looked at the real site and compared her price)
Not sayin' ya have to buy it or anything...just if ya want to look or whatever...okay advertisement over...or weell wait...link:
