Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, Skye + any Avenger, "I'm glad he's single, 'cause I'm going to climb that like a tree."

Fitz reached out and gently pushed Skye’s mouth closed with a finger as her eyes darkened, darting around at the sight of the Avengers gathered in the common room. “I’m glad he’s single,” she said under her breath as May nudged her out of the elevator, “’cause I’m going to climb that like a tree.”

“Which one?” Simmons asked curiously as she bobbled a couple of cases.

Absently, Skye took one of them from the other woman. “I have to choose?” she asked.

“Mr. Stark isn’t single,” Fitz commented. “And neither is Mr. Thor.”

“Okay, well, not either of them then.” Skye considered the ones that were left. “But really, any of the others.”

“The Black Widow would kill you and not even leave a mark if you touched something of hers,” May informed her.

Skye blinked. “Really? That’s… disturbing. And also hot.” She paused as she reflected on May’s words. “Wait. Which one is hers?”

Subtly May indicated Clint Barton where he was perched on top of the bar. No other words were needed.

“Well, I’ve still got two…,” Skye started.

“You are not allowed to despoil a National Icon,” Coulson informed her from his position behind her.

“I’d say you take all of the fun out of things, but I’m too busy being amused that you just referred to that hottie as a ‘National Icon’,” Skye replied over her shoulder. She surveyed the options that were left. “That’s okay. I think I like Mr. Dark and Brooding the best anyway.” She unbuttoned the top two buttons on her shirt and headed towards the quiet man in the corner.

“Should we be concerned that she’s approaching Dr. Banner?” Simmons asked.

Coulson eyed their hacker where she was starting a conversation with the doctor. “I’m sure Barton will have no problem tranq’ing her if she creates a problem.”
