shanachie_quillSo I realize I am like way behind with these and I apologize. I will do my best to keep up, but well, internet is limited right now as is a lot of other things. I’m going to try to catch up on the three missing ones right now (not sure I’ll get them all done today or even posted, but at least they’ll be done.)
So we’re starting with 109 since that’s where I left off. Hey at least I can do the cliffhanger episode and the resolve together. :-)
The music made me giggle the first time. I kinda like starting with whoever the episode is about, let’s us lead into the episode. Wow this guy has issues. I mean I get his friend died, but don’t take it out on her—she clearly feels bad about it. And then not letting her leave.
Oh this isn’t gonna be good. Telekinetic? Nah that would be too easy.
Boom goes the gas station.
Normally I want credits and a theme song with my shows but I kinda like just the logo and the title with this one.
Okay. Opinions. May and Ward’s ‘relationship’? I’m… not too keen on it. For a couple of reasons. 1) I just don’t like seeing the team have relationships because they are in a closed society and that isn’t going to end well. 2) Damn it I just forgot what 2 was because I got up to do a couple of things. *sighs* I’ll come back to two if I remember it.
I am not objecting to their relationship on the principal of it being them. If they weren’t on the Bus together… It would probably be okay.
I do love her just walking out of the hotel room while he’s talking.
I like ‘teacher’ Coulson. Kinda makes me wonder what he was like with Clint and Natasha. Especially considering a) how anti-authority Clint most likely was and how b) anti-SHIELD Natasha probably was.
Hahaha “I’ll try not to mention big bangs when we talk to Hutchings about the explosions.” Also Coulson with the science talk and the Science Babies expressions “I read.”
“You’ll stay in the car. This is a delicate situation, we don’t know what kind of danger this woman poses so I’ll make initial contact with Agents Ward and May.”
“Wheels up in five. Better strap in.”
“It’s a delicate situation so you’re bringing along Warm and Fuzzy?”
Yes Ward because telling the cops to get the people back will help so much. Also wow I thought I had bad aim but those people with the eggs didn’t even come close.
Nice job Coulson! Grabbing the person about to get hit with the car.
Nice aim, May. “So much for the Welcome Wagon.”
Heee I love the Science Babies discussing telekinetics. And Fitz trying to support it.
“You screamed like a girl.”

Not sure that’s a good defense there, Simmons.
Aw the two of them reminiscing about going to the Academy and not getting to pull any pranks. Also I love how Fitz just moves out of the way of the drone, without looking.
Wow Coulson without a tie. He’s practically stripping for us. I do love the “I’ll lose the tie. If she is telekinetic, I don’t want to have a noose around my neck.”
*snorts* He’s Phil, this is Melinda May. She still have a full name.
I feel sorry for this woman. She doesn’t want to hurt anyone and she feels bad about what she’s done.
Lots of exposition…
I love the Science Babies and Skye talking. And the Science Babies telling Skye about the Cavalry. Which… isn’t the true story. But it kinda makes sense—of course the story’s been exaggerated over the years.
“Is that why she’s sooo…?”
“Happy?”
*giggles* It took me two viewings to realize they were talking about the drone.
I love Fitz slapping Skye’s hand.
More exposition about what happened at the power station…
As a result of the accident she acquired some kind of telekinetic power… yeeeaaah. Keep telling yourself that.
“But if it’s not you, what is is?”
“You people won’t believe me.”
“Try me.”
Yeah they would believe a lot weirder things.
Okay demons is a lot weirder than I was expecting. Shades of Supernatural?
“She’s a danger to all of us.”
Creepy specter is creepy.
Uh-oh things are falling down in Coulson’s office. Dun dun dun.
Well Skye’s asking the right questions, but they aren’t letting her do anything else. And now she’s talking to Ward.
I thought Ward was cooking for a minute but he’s making a sandwich. Hahaha his pause when Skye said May needs to get laid.
And now Ward is telling a different story.
Something is breaking into the cell… Dun dun dun.
*giggles* Fitz in a gas mask
“You weren’t even a wee bit scared?”
“More disappointed really.”
I love it! Doctor Who “Are you my mummy?”
I’m kinda amused by them trying to prank Skye. It’s cute.
They’ve got a nice ominous vibe going here, but I have to admit this episode is not holding my attention as much as the others.
Nice work on the holograms. Oh Simmons. Poor baby!
“What was that?”
“Plane’s lost power. We’re going down.”
So apparently Ward can at least co-pilot, that’s good to know. Was a little worried we only had one qualified pilot on board.
“I saw a ghost. I know how that sounds. But a man attacked me and then he disappeared.”
Hahaha I like Skye explaining why it would better that she explain it. Also *flails* during that whole scene where they were talking about who was going to inform her and what they were going to do, I was going “Where’s Fitz? Fitz is missing. Hey, guys, you’re missing Fitz.” It seriously took them long enough!
Hee and he’s apparently locked in a closet. “Did we crash? Who was screaming? This is not funny, Jemma, if this is a prank. This is a prank.”
Found Ward’s knife.
“Did she just say ghost?”
*flails* They’re Shield 616! (That’s a comic series reference for those of you who were wondering.)
Also I love that his emergency broadcast radio is behind the picture of the Bus in his office.
*Ghost takes out the antenna* “1990s technology at its best.” *giggles*
Aw Hannah is sorry that they might be hurt. And Skye telling her that she’s safer in the room.
I like the visual of both girls sitting against the wall back to back. It’s a cool way to show them. And a way to connect them. And May listening in.
Discussing the portals. I love listening to the Science Babies talk. They’re fascinating. And the way they draw Ward in, even when he doesn’t want to be.
Oh no! He got the Science Babies!
So ya kinda gotta feel bad for Ward in this fight. He can’t protect the Science Babies because half the time he can’t find the guy.
And now Skye hears the real story. “We were the ‘Welcome Wagon’ and it went south.”
Coulson looks so hurt by what happened, even though May was the one who went in.
It’s interesting to hear how May was like before this happened and what happened. But I still don’t think we know the whole story.
I love how May seems to sense him before he appears. It’s kinda cool.
And the girl is gone!
Of course May took her.
“What’re you going to do?”
“Fix the problem.”
Coulson is really frustrated about that door being locked. “Any of this crap still work?”
“There he is.”
“What happened?”
“Well we lost communication and you were hit with a very large plumber’s wrench.”
“A wrench?”
“Yeah.”
“He’s traveling back and forth between alien worlds with a wrench?”
Hee hee using the watch to contact the others. I love it.
And using the watch to blow the door. I love that Coulson folds his arms and the wince. “They only made twenty I think.”
LOL Fitz screamed like a girl. At his own prank!
Also the tracking bots are called ‘golden retrievers. I love it!
“Yeah, he’s not trying to hurt her.”
“He’s trying to protect her.”
“He LIKES her.”
Hee they are actually GOLDEN!
Damn May just hit the man when he’s down. And it’s kinda interesting because both May and the guy are trying to protect Hannah (seriously who names these people Hannah Hutchings, Melinda May? Wow comic book names FTW)
At least he seems to have some control over how he moves. Since he moves to protect Hannah.
Aw he wants Hannah to forgive him so he won’t go to hell. And I like May telling him that Hannah forgiving him won’t solve his problems.
Is it just me or does Ward hunch up when he points his gun at people? Like when he’s sighting, he hunches his shoulders.

Aw poor Coulson and his watch. Fitz can’t repair it, but May isn’t a lost cause. Coulson wants her to pay attention to the Index because one day she’ll be really good at it.
I like Skye going to talk to May here at the end. Or well going to sit with her.
Hahaha Ward, Coulson, Skye, and Simmons playing Scrabble. It’s adorable. And someone shaving creamed Fitz! And May smiling. Clearly it was May. :-)
Like I said I just didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others. We learned a lot, but I just felt like it dragged in places.
