Disclaimer: No one recognizable belongs to me. The movie Skyfall also doesn’t belong to me. Not making any money off this.
Author's Note: I’ve watched the movie Skyfall quite a few times. And I know from research that dueling pistols are notoriously inaccurate. It was something I felt Clint (of ALL people) would protest to and so did whogeek.

The idea of movie night as a way to introduce Steve to the twenty-first century and Thor to Earth customs had seemed like a good idea in concept. Finding movies that at least one of the ten of them didn’t object to and that also wasn’t likely to cause flashbacks or nightmares was another story.

They finally decided that a majority vote would rule with Coulson being the tie-breaker when he was there. It cut-down massively on the fights, especially after a special screening one night of a certain convenience store incident. There had been no questions about Coulson’s suitability after that.

They’d been mostly going through older movies first; working their way towards current time. Tonight though Tony had announced that he had a new movie that he was almost positive everyone would like. He said Steve and Thor needed to watch it, but the others were allowed to bow out. “It has something for everyone though I think,” he said as the team gathered in the media room. “Explosions, fast cars, spy craft, beautiful women…”

“And we don’t get enough of those things in our normal life?” Clint asked, perching on the arm of the couch.

“Oh, give it a chance, Bird-boy,” Tony answered.

Coulson held a hand out. “Movie, Stark? The last thing you want is one of them being triggered by something.”

Tony surrendered his tablet with ill grace. “Okay so the main character does get shot by a sniper. But he doesn’t die!”

“Well, I’m already seeing the break in reality here,” Natasha commented.

“Would you just give it a chance?” Tony questioned.

Natasha dropped gracefully onto the couch next to Clint, shoving him and smirking when he tumbled off, coming up with a bounce. “Fine. A chance,” she told him.

The rest of the group seemed to have no objections as they settled into places. Jane and Thor cuddled together on the loveseat while Darcy grabbed a couple of pillows, using them to make a nest on the floor. Tony and Pepper took the other loveseat as Clint pulled himself up on the back of the couch behind Natasha who leaned back against his legs this time. Steve, Bruce, and Coulson settled on the other couch. “JARVIS, play selection,” Tony ordered as he slung his arm around Pepper.

Darcy squealed as the movie came up, bouncing on her pillows. “Oh, so awesome! I love Bond! I would totally bang him! Maybe even over pretty much anyone else. Like anyone on the top ten list. Even over any of you…” She twisted to see an almost bashful smile on Bruce’s face and Steve’s red ears while Tony and Clint were smirking. “Um. Never mind. Movie. Right.”

As the movie progressed, it seemed no one could stop from making comments about what was going on. At least they seemed to be enjoying it though and the comments were more in jest or pointing out how they could do it better.

As Silva handed Bond the dueling pistol, Clint groaned from his seat behind Natasha. “Are you kidding me? Seriously? All those things are good for is decoration. And maybe possibly as a blunt instrument.”

“Oh, I’m sure you could make a decent shot with one,” Steve said.

Clint snorted. “They’re horribly inaccurate. Have no sighting ability and pull radically. Oh and are generally horribly balanced. They do make really good throwing weapons sometimes.”

“Have personal experience with this, Barton?” Tony asked.

“No.” Clint shook his head. “I did once see Natasha bounce one off a guy’s head, catch it, and take out another guy. And I thought my aim was good.”

The rest of the team and friends turned to stare at the Russian, who shrugged unconcerned. “I was out of bullets.”

“Remind me not to piss her off,” Tony commented in a low voice.

“Stark, if you piss me off that much, you’ll never see me coming,” Natasha replied.

Tony inched closer to Pepper. “Pep, save me!”

Clint crowed as Bond threw his own pistol on screen, nailing the bad guy in the throat. “Now that’s more like it!”
