Round-Up of October Goals

shanachie_quill1. Continue to write at least 200 words a day (for a minimum of 25 days) or edit daily.
I wrote all but two days last month for a total of 37,313. I did write one of those two non-days, but did not reach my goal of 200 words (let me be amused for a minute—I wrote 23 words on day 23). I did not do any editing.
2. Finish at least TWO on my Fic to Finish list or make significant progress on four. (Attempt not to add anything other than Primeval or more Assassin Baby to the list. Or more of the CSI!teens.)
I finished 11 things last month. Most of them were on my Fic to Finish list—part of my CSI!teens verse. I also worked on my story plans and prompts for my WDC package.
3. Try to find the rest of the letters for the Alphabet Challenge. I have V and Y left to read. Seriously…I need suggestions!
Nope, nada, still not done with this. I dunno. I’m kinda at the point where I just wanna say screw it. I can’t seem to get this done or find two books that I like for these two letters. I did read like five books while the power was out that I loved. So I don’t know…I think I give up.
4. Finish Bry and Jay’s pillowcases. The wedding is October 20th so I have until a few days before then to finish them. Then I need to finish some of the other projects I have started. I had illfindmyway pick what she wanted on hers and I want to put the patterns on them. And then I’ll pick which project I’ll work on next once I finish Bry and Jay’s cases.
I finished! I got them done! And I gave them to Jay and Bry for their wedding. Hopefully they liked them. At some point I’ll post the pictures I took. I don’t know where they are at the moment. I think they’re on my iPod. Yes they are…so I have to get them off there.
5. Continue working on the other. Go through the cards I have and figure out what ones are missing. Since I am not having any luck getting them, I’m going to start making the cards I’m missing.
Okay so I still haven’t gotten any farther than going through the cards. I found a couple more that I didn’t remember I had when I cleaned up the other day…but I don’t know. This is starting to frustrate me. I am just going to…I don’t even know. Like I said…frustrating me. I will attempt to get myself organized in the next week or so.
6.Apply for online editing. Finish setting up Task Rabbit.
I didn’t really do anything with the online editing. I started setting up Task Rabbit, but didn’t get it all done. And this point Task Rabbit is not high on my priority list.
7. Look into other options for editing and/or writing or teaching that can be done from home.
I didn’t get anything else done on this and it’s just not high on my priority list right now.
8. Look for other work. I realize this is rather broad, but since I have no idea what I want to do (other than getting out of where I am), I just want to look and apply.
I applied for and went for an interview (yay me!); I was supposed to hear back last week—this week?—I don’t remember now but with the power outages and everything else…well it didn’t happen. If I don’t hear by next week, I’ll contact them. Meanwhile I’ll keep looking…probably next week or so.

Yeah um. I kinda had some issues with this. Called loss of power for over a week. Sooooo. Yeah. I got some of it done when I put stuff into a binder, but I’m not as prepared as I would have liked. And right this exact second I’m on hold with the cable company again trying to fix the internet. *sighs*
