So a few weeks ago I entered a contest at SFUniverse on a whim. I have no idea why I entered...because I never win these things. I mean seriously...I NEVER win...um I can't say that anymore...because on Monday (8/17) when I was checking my email I found this:
You were the winner of the Leverage / Dark Blue prize pack from SFUniverse
and TNT. Please reply with your full name and address before August 25 and
TNT will send you the prize.
Thanks for reading SFUniverse and thanks for watching these great shows on
TNT.

Well once I finished fangirling (yes I will admit to bouncing up and down in my chair and a little bit of squeeing) and telling everyone...I immediately sent my address back. I wasn't positive the whole thing wasn't a joke (well I'm sorry, but I was kind of in a state of shock), but I was still willing to believe in the power of the con. :-)
Today my momo opened my door and said to me "FedEx package." and then a box came sliding down my stairs. I got up trying to figure out what this BIG triangle box could be, picked it up and saw the return address included TNT. Inside the box was....yes y'all guessed it...the Leverage DVDs and the SIGNED Dark Blue poster (because apparently I missed the part of the contest where it said the poster would be signed).
And since I am enough of a dork to want to show it off...I laid everything out on my bed and took pictures of everything...so click if y'all want to see the pretty...I gotta admit...as much as I hate Dark Blue...the poster is kinda cool.

The package and contents...all together.

Just another shot of the package and contents.

The whole point of entering the contest...and the reason the sleeve is not on the DVDs? Because when I was trying to get them out of the box...I pulled the sleeve out first and couldn't figure out why the case didn't come out!

Just a better shot...a little closer.

Three of the signatures.

The last signature...for some reason three of them are close together and this one is off by itself. I'm assuming they signed near themselves, but the only one I can really read is Dylan McDermott's.

The packaging label...yes I blacked out my name and address...but y'all can see the rest.

21/8/09 02:50 (UTC)I mean I don't think they'd pull a con like that on someone, but like I said I never win anything. I'm just thrilled to have the DVDs...and as much as I don't like Dark Blue...the poster is kinda cool. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

21/8/09 05:28 (UTC)It is totally awesome...because I wasn't going to be able to buy them until months from now...or well actually a friend just bought them for me for my birthday (a VERY early birthday present) so now I have to send them back. It was totally sweet of her to buy them for me.
LOL the funniest part of it all...she bought them literally FOUR hours before I got the email saying I won them.

21/8/09 03:41 (UTC)I still love my DVDs from you though...because the Homecoming Job is cut on the official ones. It's the edited version. So still major hugs for sending me the DVDs.
I still have music to send to you and I shall do that soon!

23/8/09 03:33 (UTC)You and I both won Leverage DVDs - what are the odds?!
I didn't get a signed Dark Blue poster, though. :-( That's okay - somehow I'll live.
Have you watched the DVDs yet? I'm going slowly - want to savor them. I'm really enjoying the commentaries!
Congrats on the win!!
