Disclaimer: Hawaii Five-O doesn’t belong to me, but the High School verse does. And the dorky things the characters got up to as teenagers (also Danny moving to the Islands as a teenager) totally do too. “I Want You to Want Me” by Letters to Cleo also does not belong to me.
Author's Note: I wasn’t intending to post this tonight, but when I went to work on it, I thought it was finished. Since my two enablers, illfindmyway  and whogeek  concurred, I got it ready to post. This is the first story in Arc Two.


Danny jumped, his head almost slamming into the lockers, as someone came up behind him. “I had a good time on Saturday,” Steve breathed against his ear.

“Jesus Christ, you psycho!” Danny shoved backwards, trying to get some space between them. “Don’t do that! You took about three years off my life.” He turned around to find Steve grinning at him. “What the hell?”

Steve reached for his hand, rubbing a finger against the inside of his wrist. “I told you. I had a good time on Saturday. I missed you yesterday. Wanted to see you this morning.”

Danny rolled his eyes, trying to shove Steve backwards and get some space between them as he looked around. “Okay, there is such a thing as discretion, straight boy. Move.”

Steve pressed up against him for a moment, letting Danny feel the beginnings of his arousal. “Does that feel like a straight boy to you?” he whispered in Danny’s ear. He pressed a kiss below the ear he’d whispered in before taking off down the hall at a run, almost careening into a group of people halfway down the hall.

Danny hit his head against the lockers behind him. “Screwed,” he moaned. “So. So screwed.”

I am also intrigued by your 'current music' - series 1, or is there a new series that hasn't crossed the pond yet?

Um...not sure what you mean by current music? Oh the Law & Order? I was watching BBC America. So it was most likely reruns...is that what you mean? I just didn't feel like writing it all out.

Yeah a friend got me hooked on that version and I watch when I'm home on the weekends so I had it on for background noise last night. I've only see random episodes so they're all new to me :-)

Sorry I had to go back and read what I wrote and start over, my mom opened my door to let my cat in and I had to talk to him for a few minutes. He's not happy with me because I haven't been home in about two weeks.

Nope, Danny does not have a clue. Although he's starting to get an inkling. I don't know that Danny gave him the go ahead. He's given Steve a yellow light, not a green one.

ROTFL I LOVE that song too! Dunno if I can fit "Cruel to be Kind" into this verse, but we'll see. I already fit an absolutely pop '80s song in, that'll come up (I think) in the next story.

I was watching with two friends and chatting on-line with them. And all three of us started like flailing and screaming at almost the same time. It was pretty funny.
