I made up a recipe...that my grandmother actually approved of...so I thought I'd share it with y'all. Enjoy! It was pretty simple too.
Garlic and Mushroom Chicken
3 chicken breasts cut into strips
Fresh mushrooms sliced
3 garlic cloves
Chicken bullion
1 can cream of mushroom and garlic soup
Directions:
About 2 hours before cooking cut the chicken breasts into strips and submerge in a bowl of chicken broth (bullion mixed with water) and cut up garlic cloves. Store in fridge until ready to cook.
About half an hour before dinner time, begin cooking.
Lightly sauté mushrooms in small frying pan.
In larger frying pan dump can of soup, pour in bullion mixture and garlic, but not chicken breasts. Add mushrooms.
Brown chicken and then add to sauce.
Cook sauce until simmering lightly.
Serve over rice and with a vegetable.
