I've got a recommendation for you. Jeri Smith-Ready has a series of books (three at the moment) based in and around WMMP radio station in Sherwood. Ciara (pronounced Keer-ah) is a former con artist who is trying to go straight and applies to the radio station for an internship. At the interview, she's told part of the reason she's being considered is she thinks outside the box...little does she know how far outside she's going to have to think...


Each book has a playlist of music listed in the front and the author has been able to create an on-line playlist so you can listen to the music she picked. I'll hopefully add more as I think of things here. :-) But check out the books.

Soldiers' Angels in a partnership with Ram Trucks and The Zac Brown Band is currently doing a letter drive. Their goal is to send 1 million letters/postcards to overseas soldiers.

With that in mind they are doing a Letters for Lyrics drive right now.
