Seriously! They were freaking everyone out and totally freaking out my 94 year old grandmother (I live with her) and then it wasn't nearly as bad here as they were saying. Yes, there were places it was much worse. (And my parents lost a tree in the second round...I'll have pictures tomorrow.) But the creek down the road rose more last year than it did this time.
I do agree with my cousin though when he was complaining about the idiots who won't listen and stay home when they're told. Running out to see the damage is just stupid. Although the cop who wanted to come over and yell at my cousin was hysterical. He's a firefighter in a town that's a square mile. You'd think they'd know each other!
