The OCD is how the vampires cope with being stuck in their time periods as the world moves on around them. No not like Monk--alphabetizing, music issues, pouring booze into the exact same amounts (that was in the newest book so I remember that particularly).
I have friends with OCD so I understand that too.
I enjoy these a lot just read the new one in like 3 days (mostly because I was traveling during 1 of them).
