Has anyone watched Julie and the Phantoms? Are you well versed enough for me to bounce some ideas for a fic? I'm doing it as a present for the one person I know watches it. I'm working on it now so letting me know soon would be helpful.

Christmas Series (Future)
So last Christmas, I did a series called "Walk o Shame". I'd like to do something simliar this coming Christmas, but I have no ideas yet for a theme.

Honolulu 96731 verse
Hey for those of you who love the Honolulu 96731 verse, I'm planning to move it to AO3. I probably won't delete it from LJ/DW (for now), but I won't post anymore of it here. I'm moving it in hopes that I can pick it back up and possibly finish it. I know, it's been an age (7 years!) but I have hopes.

After Careful Consideration...
... I'm not going to close my LJ, but I'm also no longer going to post Fic on LJ. For the moment, I'm going to leave it open and use it for reflections on how my writing is going, I'm not sure how or what yet, but I'll come back to it later (I might go to a completely friends locked journal but I haven't decided yet). But actual stories will not be posted on either LJ or DW.

I need some assistance, advice, opinions, whatever.
I have a finished novel. It's been edited a few times, but could maybe stand another editing (cause it's been a couple of years since I looked it over).
Should I edit it again? Or well more likely have someone edit it for me since I've read it multiple times. In which case does someone want to volunteer to edit for me?
Also what I was considering doing was publishing it on Amazon as an ebook/kindle book. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? Any suggestions on this? Is there a better place to self-publish like this?
I also have a short story series I want to do the same thing with--once I edit them a bit. Again anyone willing to edit them?

The Dog Days of Something Writing Challenge is something to help writers get something done during those quiet lazy days of August.
I posted my goal today. And have started my drabbles.
My goals:
Okay. I wasn't prepared yesterday but I think I am today. My August goal is to finish 2 of my 6 stories in my Leave Universe. I've been working on this for *coughs* 16 *coughs* years (wow did not realize it was that long) and I'd like to finish it. It's a series of short stories I write for my sister so I do have some done. I'd also like to finish my 5 words stories which is a "game" I've been playing with some writer friends.
So 2 short stories. And 4 drabbles (minimum) by the end of the month. I think that's doable.
Anyone else wanna join? Come on over

Back in the Day
I have been writing for years. Decades really. I wrote my first novel when I was in 8th grade (and before you ask--no you cannot see it, no one can see it). I've had moments--days, months--when I haven't written, but for the most part I've always written.
With that being said, I used to write in notebooks and on random sheets of paper. So I have a ton of started stories that I no longer have any clue where I was going with them.
We're trying to clean out and pare down on what we have (for a variety of reasons) so I made the decision to get rid of a lot of my old writing. I have no idea what most of it was about so there's no sense in it taking it up space.
I'm keeping my three novels that I finished (assuming I can find all the pieces of the one) and the series I was working on with my sister. But everything else is going, going, gone!
