15/31--Timeline
Timeline of my Day
Well normally my day is pretty boring but I actually DID stuff today, so I’ll give you my actually DAY today.
850am Alarm went off, but I’d been awake on and off for a little while. I got up and checked to see if Momo had gone fishing (the answer was no). Looked around for my headphones, checked email, emailed the office to explain I wasn’t coming per our discussion on Friday (I’m supposed to be driving over to a county office to do daily job searches), did some other emailing.
About 930 I went downstairs and started a load of laundry, did the dishes, hung the laundry, and made French toast for everyone for breakfast.
Then I came back upstairs and did some work on the computer—some job searching and some more emailing (yes, I do a lot of emailing). And finally got my beyond.com account fixed. I also reserved some books that badfalcon recommended to me at our library.
Called my mom mid-afternoon and asked her to make a doctor’s appointment for my little sister who’s had an earache for about a week. Just before 3pm we took her over to the doctor (she wanted me AND mommy). We were there for over an hour, but that was more from conversation than waiting or anything like that.
After we got home, I stopped for a minute to check on dinner (Momo said she was going to make hamburgers on the grill), then took Boo to VBS at her best friend’s church. We stopped on the way to get McDonald’s (dinner for her and French fries for me). I stopped on the way back and picked up Boo’s meds from my mom and made arrangements to take the truck over tomorrow so she can use it for the A/C for my gramma. When I got back, dinner was just off the grill and I had a fabulous blue cheese burger.
While I waited for it to be time to go get Boo, I chatted with some friends and just generally did not much (although I did eat my dinner). I had only about an hour to use before I went to go get her. Although when I got back to the church, I discovered that she had told me the incorrect time and I didn’t have to get her until 730. I stayed there and waited until they were done because there wasn’t enough time to go home and come back, nor did it make sense to use the gas.
During the day while I was doing things in my room, I enjoyed re-watching Stargate: Atlantis (I’ve been slowly re-watching the series). And now I’m watching Doctor Who with illfindmyway.
So that’s actually a busy day for me when I stay home. I didn’t get any reading done—except while I was at the doctor’s office. And this is the first writing I’ve done all day, although I did sort some files on my desktop (cleaned it up a little) and I’ve opened the files I intend to work on for the next few days other than this blog. I guess all in all that’s a pretty typical day for me.
