Review of November Goals
So this is the review of NOVEMBER’s Goals. Which I realize is probably a bit late and far back, but I didn’t do December goals (I know fail me). It’s a new year though and a new month. And I’m back to goals and getting shit done!
1. Write at least 200 words a day each day. No days off this month because it’s Mini-Nano!
Completed all but one day. Clearly my sister and I should not be locked in a house together with limited means of entertaining ourselves. Also had to learn how to write without electricity.
Total word count for the month: 18,292
2. Since my Mini-Nano goal is to work on Original fic…I’d like to get working on those. So I’ve got 12 stories on my Fic to Finish list. I’d like to get at least two of them finished, if not more. Plus I need to finish my Veteran’s Day story.
Yeah I suck with the whole, ‘finish Original fic idea’. I did get my Veteran’s Day story done. And three other stories, but well…nothing other than that. And no Original fics. So I really suck. Here’s hoping I do better later.
3. I picked my next sewing project and I started on it. My goal is to finish that one for Christmas since it will hopefully be a Christmas present. And that’s all I’m saying because the person who it’s for might read this. And no, illfindmyway, it’s not you.
I got it done! And I sent it to her! And she loved it! So yay me!
4. Continue working on the other.So clearly I’m not getting the last few states from anyone and am going to have to make them. Here goes fun times. I don’t know when I’m going to get to this, but I’m going to have to do something.
Yeah I’m just gonna call fail on this. Total fail because I completely forgot about this. For two months.
5. Look into other options for editing and/or writing or teaching that can be done from home. I want to keep working on this, but I don’t know what’s going to happen with it.
And fail again. I didn’t do much. Or anything at all. So fail.
6. Look for other work. I realize this is rather broad, but since I have no idea what I want to do (other than getting out of where I am), I just want to look and apply.
I… Yeah. I’m just gonna say fail for this too. It was just. I’m not even gonna make excuses. I suck. I’m going to work harder now.
7. Finish my Christmas cards. I got them almost all done during the power outage, but I still have a little to do.
I did it! I got this finished and I mailed them all out in plenty of time. *head desk* And then I got three back. But I finally (this last weekend) got the last two addresses and those got sent out yesterday. So all Christmas cards sent out. I hope everyone enjoyed them.
